Chapman Ford Columbia is seeking a friendly Part-Time Service Driver to join our Service Department. You will move customer and inventory vehicles around the lot and participate in our pickup/delivery program to swap vehicles at customer locations.

You will assist with extended test drives and maintain a clean shuttle vehicle while providing a welcoming atmosphere for all passengers. Timely coordination with Service Advisors helps us keep service operations running smoothly.

Formación

• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Proficient with smartphone apps to log pick-ups, GPS, and vehicle status.
• Punctual and reliable with good communication.
• Able to drive manual transmission vehicles.
• Knowledge of Columbia/Lancaster County area is a plus.
• Able to get in and out of various vehicle types frequently.

Qualifications

• Valid Driver’s License: Must have a clean driving record (MVR check required).
• Mobile Tech Proficiency: Must be comfortable and proficient using smartphone applications to manage pick-up/delivery logs, GPS navigation, and vehicle status updates.
• Punctuality: Reliability is a must to keep our service department running on schedule.
• Communication: Ability to interact professionally with customers and team members.
• Local Knowledge: Familiarity with the Columbia and Lancaster County area is a plus.
• Physical Ability: Must be able to get in and out of various vehicle types frequently throughout the shift.

Requirements

Applicants must have a clean, valid driver’s license to earn the position. Candidates are required to be able to drive vehicles with a manual transmission. The attendant must arrive to work on time.
