Job summary

Chapman Ford Columbia is seeking a friendly Part-Time Service Driver to join our Service Department. You will move customer and inventory vehicles around the lot and participate in our pickup/delivery program to swap vehicles at customer locations.

You will assist with extended test drives and maintain a clean shuttle vehicle while providing a welcoming atmosphere for all passengers. Timely coordination with Service Advisors helps us keep service operations running smoothly.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Proficient with smartphone apps to log pick-ups, GPS, and vehicle status.
• Punctual and reliable with good communication.
• Able to drive manual transmission vehicles.
• Knowledge of Columbia/Lancaster County area is a plus.
• Able to get in and out of various vehicle types frequently.

Responsibilities

• Move customer and inventory vehicles around the lot.
• Support the Service Pick-up & Delivery program by driving to customer locations to swap vehicles.
• Assist service advisors with extended test drives.
• Maintain a clean shuttle vehicle and provide a friendly, welcoming atmosphere for all passengers.
• Work closely with Service Advisors to prioritize trips and manage timing.
