Job summary

Long Beach BMW, part of Sonic Automotive, is hiring a Service Porter to keep service lanes moving, greet customers, and manage parking in Long Beach, CA.

The role is on-site with comprehensive training, and compensation includes $17 per hour plus strong benefits. We offer medical, dental, vision, HSA, 401k, and PTO, as well as opportunities for growth within a large automotive family.

Qualifications

• All applicants must be authorized to work in the USA
• Must follow all safety policies and procedures
• Zero tolerance for lot damage; maintain a clean, safe service drive
• Ability to perform duties in a team environment

Responsibilities

• Greets customers entering the service area with a friendly, upbeat attitude
• Records customer information including name, VIN, mileage, and damage
• Controls service traffic flow and parking, assists with loaner vehicles
• Parks vehicles after they are written up and retrieves them at cashier
• Maintains clean, safe service drive area and reports any damages
• Drives vehicles between lanes, service stalls, and parking lot as needed
• Keeps keys and repair orders properly delivered to Service Advisors
• Performs other duties as assigned and adheres to safety policies
