Job summary

Lonestar Forklift is looking for an organized and customer-oriented Service Dispatcher to join our team in Odessa, Texas. You will coordinate Service jobs, schedule Technicians, and ensure services meet customer requirements.

As the Service Dispatcher, you will assign jobs, use an ERP system, prioritize appointments, and communicate with customers and internal teams to optimize workloads and service delivery. This onsite role is based in Odessa, Texas, with competitive compensation and benefits.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of dispatching or scheduling experience.
• Experience in heavy equipment or automotive service industries is a strong asset.
• Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Excellent organizational and planning skills.
• Customer service mindset with strong verbal and written communication.
• Strong interpersonal skills to work with customers at all levels.
• Strong work ethic and positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Schedule, coordinate, and assign jobs to Service Technicians.
• Manage new and ongoing work orders using an ERP system.
• Use the service scheduler to prioritize and schedule appointments.
• Communicate with Service and Parts teams to optimize workloads and meet customer needs.
• Manage incoming job leads using established processes.
• Maintain professional communication with customers.
• Manage the WIP report and billing, reviewing invoices for accuracy.
• Ensure adherence to safety programs and complete incident reports when needed.

The Opportunity

Lonestar Forklift is looking for an organized and customer-oriented Service Dispatcher to join our team in Odessa, Texas. As the Service Dispatcher, you will be responsible for the coordination of Service jobs, including scheduling and assigning work to Technicians, and ensuring that services offered meet or exceed the requirements of internal and external customers.

As the Service Dispatcher, your key responsibilities will include:

• Scheduling, coordinating, and assigning jobs to Service Technicians
• Managing new and ongoing work orders using an ERP system
• Utilizing the service scheduler to prioritize and schedule appointments
• Communicating with Service and Parts team members to ensure workloads are optimized, and customer needs are managed proactively
• Managing incoming job leads using established processes
• Maintaining professional and effective communication with customers
• Managing the WIP Report and billing for customers, including reviewing invoice proposals for accuracy
• Ensuring adherence to safety programs and initiatives, and ensuring incident reports are completed when needed

Required Skills & Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills, knowledge, and competencies:

• At least 3 years of previous dispatching or scheduling experience
• Experience in heavy equipment or automotive service industries would be a strong asset
• Strong proficiency with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Excellent organizational skills and planning skills
• A customer service mindset and excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to work effectively with internal and external customers at all levels
• Strong work ethic and a positive attitude

The base pay range for this role is: $52,000 to $56,160 per year, depending on experience.

This is an onsite role based in Odessa, Texas.
