Job summary

Forbright Bank is seeking a Service Desk Technician in Chevy Chase, MD, to deliver quality, timely technical support to bank staff and assist the IT team with daily checks, ticketing, patch management, on-call support, and inventory tracking.

The role involves administering Microsoft systems (AD, Office 365, Azure, MDM), supporting desktop and software, and coordinating onboarding/offboarding processes in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma required; Bachelor's Degree in an Information Technology field preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Help Desk/Customer Service role required.
  • Networking certifications such as A+, MCP, Network+ preferred.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Outstanding problem-solving and time management skills.
  • Self-motivated, self-directed, and results-oriented.
  • Adaptable and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Can work independently and within a team; solution-oriented with a collaborative approach.

Responsibilities

  • Execute across all IT department operational activities.
  • Support the strategic direction and design of technology, infrastructure, software, and networking systems.
  • Administer Microsoft systems, including cloud-based systems, AD, Office365, Azure, and Mobile MDM.
  • Provide help desk support including ticket management.
  • Primary resource for desktop and application software support.
  • Lead Technicians for daily systems checklists.
  • Administer and maintain systems imaging.
  • On-call support.
  • Managing new hire and departure processes.
  • Manage all inventory tracking (desktop related).
  • Support for audio/video conferencing.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

JOB SUMMARY

TheService Desk Technicianisresponsible forprovidingquality andtimelytechnical support to bank staff.This position will alsoassistthe broaderIT teamwith daily systems checks, ticket and patch management,on-callsupport, inventory tracking, and systems imaging.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

$70,000 - $77,000 a year

The pay range for this position is below. The specific rate will depend on the successful candidate’s qualifications and prior experience. $70,000 (entry level qualifications) to $77,000 (highly experienced).
