Job summary

Indiana University Bloomington's UITS GLOBALNOC CLIENT SERVICES is seeking a Network Support Specialist to provide troubleshooting, monitoring, and documentation for network services. You will assist in establishing network and information system needs and deliver responsive support to clients.

This full-time on-site role at Indianapolis/Bloomington locations emphasizes teamwork, professionalism, and quality, with growth opportunities and training support.

Established in 1998 at Indiana University, the GlobalNOC's missionis to advance the future of research, education, and the publicinterest through the support and evolution of networks. With ourstaff of 120 plus, we provide comprehensive contracted networkmanagement services to over 20 large-scale networks. EDUCATION

Required
  • High school diploma or equivalent (such as HSED or GED).

Working Conditions / Demands

This position requires the ability to communicate effectively andto operate computers and other related technical equipment. Therole is required to maintain and interact with computers andfrequently move objects weighing up to 50 pounds. The person inthis role must be able to perform the essential functions with or without an accommodation.
