Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an IT professional to manage infrastructure across diverse client environments. You will work with Windows Server, virtualization platforms, networking tech, and cloud-integrated systems to modernize and secure clients’ IT operations.

Maintaining home lab setups and exploring new technologies are part of the role, with an emphasis on pushing technical boundaries in a fast-paced MSP setting.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of hands-on IT experience in systems administration, infrastructure engineering, or MSP support roles.
• Demonstrated career progression within a single organization.
• Experience deploying, configuring, and managing Windows Server environments.
• Experience with Group Policy (GPO) creation, management, and troubleshooting.
• Solid understanding of networking fundamentals, including VLANs, routing, switching, firewalls, and VPN technologies.
• Familiarity with Linux administration.
• Ability to document environments, follow change management processes, and communicate clearly with clients and colleagues.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in fast-paced MSP environments.
• Hypervisor deployment and management.
