As a Systems Administrator on the Project Team, you will play a central role in identifying, evaluating, and implementing technology solutions that address business challenges and opportunities. You will report to the Technical Delivery Manager and work closely with cross-functional teams to gather business requirements, evaluate technology options, and drive the successful implementation of IT projects across the organization.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Resolve client technical issues by delivering top-tier technical support.
- Ability to build and configure Hypervisor and ESX environments
- Ability to build, migrate, and upgrade Windows Server environments.
- Solid understanding of AD, DHCP, DNS, GPO, IIS, and other Windows Server roles.
- Ability to configure firewalls, with FortiGate, Cisco, and SonicWALL experience preferred.
- Ability to set up VPNs and configure Cisco DUO for multi-factor authentication.
- Build customer loyalty by consistently exceeding client expectations.
- Own issues from start to finish through to full resolution.

- Provide customer support remotely by phone as well as on-site at client locations.

- Working knowledge of Microsoft 365, SharePoint, and Teams, along with common desktop software such as Adobe Acrobat and Intuit QuickBooks
- Ability to learn, understand, and troubleshoot industry-specific line-of-business applications such as PC Law, TimeMatters, SolidWorks, PracticeWorks, UltraTax, and similar tools
- Working knowledge of networking fundamentals and TCP/IP; candidates should be prepared to discuss this topic during the interview process.
- Strong troubleshooting skills to identify and reason through technical problems.
- Understanding of networking and computer technologies, including desktop hardware and software, VPN clients, antivirus, EDR/MDR, email systems, computer security, and data transfers/migrations.
- Ability to prioritize, solve problems, and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Provide clear, concise documentation of work activities along with accurate time tracking.
- Ability to communicate ideas, concepts, and issue details clearly, both verbally and in writing.
- Follow through consistently to ensure issues are properly resolved.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively as part of a team.
Experience:
- 6+ years of computer and network administration/support experience preferred
- Managed Service Provider (MSP) experience is strongly preferred
- A computer-related degree or certifications (MCITP: Desktop, A+, N+, CompTIA) is an advantage but not required.
- Knowledge of professional services platforms (Autotask), remote monitoring and management tools (Datto RMM), and documentation platforms (ITGlue) is a plus!
Education:
- A bachelor's degree in a relevant field is preferred; however, demonstrated ability is what matters most.
