Job summary

Benzel-Busch is seeking a Service Department Manager in Englewood, NJ to lead our service advisors and drive a high-performing team in a premium dealership.

In this role, you will supervise staffing, optimize appointment scheduling, maintain quality standards, identify revenue opportunities, and ensure accurate documentation while delivering outstanding customer service and dealership success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred; automotive training/certifications valuable.
• Extensive experience in automotive service management and managing service advisors.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a team of service advisors to ensure high performance.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and communicate service recommendations effectively.
• Oversee scheduling and coordination of service appointments to optimize bay and technician utilization.
• Maintain high-quality standards in customer interactions, diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance.
• Identify and propose additional services or repairs to maximize revenue.
• Ensure accurate documentation of customer information, service history, parts, and labor hours.
• Provide ongoing training and development for service advisors.
• Prepare and analyze service department performance reports and KPIs.
• Ensure safety and regulatory compliance within the service department.
