Safeway in Alaska is seeking a Service Deli Supervisor to direct the operation of the service deli, supervise and train personnel, and manage inventory and merchandising to ensure product quality, freshness, safety and selection.

The role requires strong leadership and communication skills, knowledge of food safety standards, and the ability to handle customer inquiries and complaints. Working hours may include nights and weekends in a temperature-controlled store environment.

Qualificações

• Requires working knowledge of all duties in the Service Deli, including food preparation and cooking.
• Strong communication and leadership skills; ability to manage people and stay composed with customers.
• Knowledge of employment laws and workplace practices.
• Ability to judge and react to business activity; good understanding of merchandising and safety standards.
• Physical ability to lift up to 55 lbs and work nights/weekends as needed.
• Familiar with safety, sanitation, and labeling requirements.

Responsabilidades

• Directs operation of the service deli and supervises staff.

• Implements displays, promotions, and controls shrink and expenses.
