Stater Bros. Markets, Inc. is seeking a NOTC Clerk in Orange County to provide exceptional over-the-counter service in the Service Deli and Bakery departments. The role includes preparing deli and bakery items, stocking displays, and maintaining food safety and sanitation standards.

The NOTC Clerk will contribute to a positive shopping experience, handle inventory and displays, and support daily operations, including graveyard shift responsibilities when needed.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma preferred but not required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication with customers and teammates.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift moderate weights.
• Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, helpful service while maintaining a professional demeanor (G.O.A.T).
• Handle customer concerns or complaints politely and escalate as needed.
• Service Deli: greet customers, answer questions, fulfill requests; prepare deli items.
• Stock and rotate deli products; monitor expiration dates; fulfill party tray orders.
• Bakery: assist customers, prepare, decorate cakes/cupcakes, and handle custom orders.
• Stock shelves; verify inventory; ensure display cases are clean and inviting.
• Operate deli equipment safely; maintain clean, sanitary work area.
