Daikin Applied Americas is hiring a Service Coordinator for the Seattle District Service Office in Kent. You will coordinate technician schedules, handle customer inquiries, and manage office administrative tasks to keep the HVAC service operation efficient.

The role emphasizes timely communication, data entry, invoicing, and warranty administration in a fast-paced environment. Location is in-office in Kent, WA with responsibilities including AP/AR, paperwork, and inventory organization.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 2+ years of related experience in mechanical, electrical, plumbing service or equivalent.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent organizational, problem-solving and customer service abilities.
• Bachelor's degree may be considered in lieu of work experience.
• Experience with Astea or any service tracking software.

Responsabilités

• Schedule and dispatch Commercial HVAC Technicians for startups, repairs, warranty and maintenance.
• Address customer inquiries and route technical questions appropriately.
• Plan and adjust technician hours for Data Center work.
• Coordinate startups and communicate scheduling with customers; follow up on progress.
• Invoice and bill customers.
• Perform AP/AR tasks and follow up on payments.
• Close-out work orders and manage related paperwork (P.O., etc.).
• Coordinate warranty administration process.
• Order parts and track shipments.
• Enter data into ERP system for work orders, customers, and hours.
• Maintain OSHA logs.
• Answer calls and greet customers professionally.
• Organize inventory processes.
• Prioritize Data Center critical environments with time urgency.

Daikin Applied is seeking a Service Coordinator for the Seattle District Service Office in Kent. This role is responsible for customer service, coordination of technician schedules to fulfill service work, and administrative functions that support the efficient operation of a commercial HVAC service office.

Location: In office; Seattle Service Office (Kent, WA)

What you will do:

• Work with the Operations team and District Manager in scheduling and dispatching of Commercial HVAC Technicians for jobs (startups/repairs, warranty, maintenance).
• Address customer inquiries and route questions of technical nature to the appropriate resource.
• Continuously plan and adjust technician hours as appropriate for the Data Center business.
• Coordinate job startups and maintain communication with customer regarding scheduling for the startup and follow-up on jobs in progress/completed.
• Invoice and bill customers.
• Perform local office AP/AR functions. Follow up with customer to ensure that payment has been received.
• Ensure timely close-out on all work orders and that all associated paperwork (P.O., etc.) is received and filed with the proper job.
• Coordinate warranty administration process.
• Order parts and tracks shipments.
• Enter and maintain information into Enterprise Resource System, including work orders, new customer information, and technician hours for billing purposes.
• Maintain OSHA logs.
• Answer telephones and greets customers and maintains professional and courteous customer contact.
• Organize and coordinate inventory process.
• With a strong understanding of time management and need for urgency, prioritize work related to Data Center critical environments.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 2+ years of related experience, preferably in Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing service field or comparable industry.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organization, problem-solving, and customer service skills.
• Bachelor's degree may be considered in lieu of work experience.
• Experience with Astea or any other service tracking software.

The typical pay rate for this position ranges from $30 - $52 per hour in the Seattle area. The range displayed represents the pay range for all positions in the job grades which this position falls. Individual base pay will depend on a wide range of factors including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

Employment is contingent upon successful completion of pre-employment requirements, including verification of employment history, education, background screening, and drug testing where permitted by law. Safety-sensitive positions may require cannabis (marijuana) testing. All testing and employment decisions will comply with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
