Job summary

Ralph's Joy of Living in Northwest Ohio is seeking a detail-oriented Parts & Service Coordinator to manage the parts side of every service call. You will order parts, track shipments, and record six required fields, ensuring accurate documentation and timely processing.

In this role, you will communicate with vendors like GE, Bosch, Whirlpool, LG, Frigidaire, and Speed Queen, while supporting service technicians and customers with part arrivals and warranty claims.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Strong computer skills—comfortable in email, spreadsheets, vendor portals, and our POS.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; able to write a clear note and make a clear phone call.
• Attention to detail—critical six fields on every service call.

Our service department is what sets us apart, and the Parts & Service Coordinator is the person who keeps it running.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

The Parts & Service Coordinator owns the parts side of every service call. You'll order parts from vendors, track every shipment, record the six required fields on every order (vendor, order date, carrier, tracking #, expected arrival, received date, invoice #), file warranty claims, and tell our techs and our customers exactly when each part is going to arrive. When a customer calls to ask "where's my part?", you're the person with the answer.

QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS

• At least 18 years of age
• High school diploma or GED required
• Possess a valid U.S. driver's license with a clean driving record
• Pass a pre-employment drug screening and criminal background check
• Strong computer skills — comfortable in email, spreadsheets, vendor web portals, and our POS
• Excellent verbal and written communication; able to write a clear note and make a clear phone call
• Demonstrated attention to detail — the role lives or dies on six required fields on every service call
• Ability to manage multiple open parts orders simultaneously without losing track
• Comfortable working in a small-team environment where ownership of the function matters
• Customer-service, dispatch, parts, warranty, or admin experience preferred — but not required
