Job summary

Northside Hospital in Atlanta is seeking a nursing leader to coordinate the nursing activities across multiple service areas. The role provides care to a wide patient age range, from neonates to geriatrics, and emphasizes prioritization and high-level clinical decision making.

The ideal candidate will have GA RN licensure, 4+ years in nursing with 2+ in the specialty, and a management course or equivalent training.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program and licensed in Georgia.
• Two (2) years in the area of specialty and four (4) years total nursing experience.
• Must demonstrate prioritization, coordination of multiple activities, and sound clinical/managerial decision making.
• CPR certification required.
• Completion of a management course before appointment or within six months of employment.
• Demonstrated proficiency in skills applicable to designated area within probationary period.

Qualifications

KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES/LICENSE OR CERTIFICATION REQUIRED

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing and licensed in the state of Georgia.
• Demonstrated proficiency in skills applicable to designated area within probationary period.
• Four (4) years of experience in nursing, with minimum of two (2) years in area of specialty.
• Demonstrated ability to set priorities, coordinates diversified and multiple activities, and make appropriate clinical and managerial decisions. Must possess advanced problem solving skills.
• Successful completion of a management course prior to appointment, or within six (6) months of employment.
• Certified in cardio‑pulmonary resuscitation (CPR).
