Northside Hospital Inc. in Georgia seeks a Registered Nurse to collaborate with neonate through geriatric patients, determining the proper setting of care and hospitalization needs. You will work with families, medical staff, and community resources to ensure safe, appropriate care.

You will also assess post-hospital needs, coordinate discharge planning, and address social drivers of health. Strong communication and teamwork are essential; weekend availability is required, with 7:00–7:30 shifts

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Registered Nursing School (RN).
• Current License in the State of Georgia as a Registered Nurse or Nursing Compact (NLC/eNLC) or Multistate License.
• Two (2) years previous clinical experience.

Responsibilities

Works with neonate, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients, families, medical staff and community agencies to determine the appropriate setting of care and appropriateness of hospitalization, as well as to assess post‑hospital care needs. Provide support to address social drivers of health.

Qualifications

Required

• Graduate of an accredited Registered Nursing School (RN)
• Current License in the State of Georgia as a Registered Nurse or Nursing Compact (NLC/eNLC) or Multistate License
• Two (2) years previous clinical experience.

Preferred

• BSN
• Three (3) years of experience in case management, social services or related field.
• Certified Case Manager.
• Ability to interact with patients, families, physicians and hospital staff.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to type accurately at an approximate rate of 30 wpm.
