Job summary

Texas Panhandle Centers is seeking a Service Coordinator for Outreach, Screening, Assessment and Referral (1077) to deliver trauma-informed care and recovery planning for adults across Amarillo and the surrounding area.

The role requires an LCDC license, a valid Texas Driver’s License, and a commitment to coordinating services, screenings, and referrals in a multidisciplinary team. This full-time position emphasizes client-centered care and community outreach.

Qualifications

  • LCDC license required and in good standing in Texas.
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • One semester (12 credit hours) of college coursework or ABLE-based equivalence.
  • Valid Texas Driver’s License with insurable driving record.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain ethical and professional communications using trauma-informed care language.
  • Provide screening and assessment for adults and adolescents with substance use/abuse issues.
  • Refer clients to appropriate agencies for treatment.
  • Determine priority for waiting lists and coordinate follow-up services.
  • Schedule OSAR service appointments and manage related data entry in CMS/CBHS.
