The ideal candidate has 6–8 years in mechanical/electrical/plumbing service, HVAC technician exposure, and proficiency with Astea or similar service-tracking software, plus MS Office skills.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 6–8 years of related experience in mechanical, electrical, or plumbing service field.
• Bachelor’s degree may be considered in lieu of work experience.
• Experience working with HVAC Technicians preferred.
• Experience with Astea or other service tracking software.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and dispatch technicians for jobs (startups, repairs, warranty, maintenance).
• Handle customer inquiries and route technical questions to appropriate resources.
• Track time and attendance for technicians.
• Coordinate job startups and communicate with customers about scheduling and progress.
• Invoice and bill customers; assist in AP/AR activities.

Come be a part of an exciting journey at Daikin Applied, where innovation and excellence drive our every endeavor!Location: Tampa, FL - In-OfficeYour Responsibilities:Work with Technician Supervisor and/or Operations, Service Center or District Manager in scheduling and dispatching of technicians for jobs (Startups/repairs, warranty, maintenance)Handle customer inquiries and routes questions of technical nature to the appropriate resourceTracking of time and attendance for techniciansCoordinate job startups and maintain communication with the customer regarding scheduling for the startup and follow-up on jobs in progress/completedInvoice and bill customersAssist in performing local office AP/AR functions and follows up with customer to ensure that payment has been receivedCoordinate warranty administration process, parts orders, and track shipmentsAnswer telephones and greet customers while maintaining professional and courteous customer contactAssist new hires in the completion of their new hire paperwork, complete employer required sections of forms (I-9) and ensure that it is sent to Human Resources on the new employee’s first day of employmentMaintain OSHA logsEnter all information and maintain information into Enterprise Resource System.
