Job summary

New England Mechanical Services, Inc. is seeking a Service Coordinator to work on-site to support our mobile field technicians in scheduling, coordination, and delivery of quality and timely services to our customer base.

This role requires a critical thinker who can assign the right skill set to the problem with minimal oversight. The position also requires an intermediate level of computer experience, including experience with the Microsoft Office package.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Detail oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to priorities, multitask, and work under pressure.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Create detailed work orders for service requests via email or phone.
• Coordinate scheduling with customers, technicians, and projects to maximize satisfaction.
• Provide hourly/daily updates to technicians on calls and scope.
• Serve as primary contact between customers and Operations, Sales, and Accounting.
• Review time and material requests to plan completion and resources.
• Maintain dispatch board and WIP status throughout the day.
• Prepare payroll data each Monday for accurate billing.
