Job summary

New England Mechanical Services, Inc. is seeking a Service Coordinator to work on-site to support our mobile field technicians with scheduling, coordination, and delivery of timely services.

The role requires a detail-oriented, communicative teammate who can manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced office environment. Applicants should have intermediate computer skills (Microsoft Office) and a customer-service mindset.

Qualifications

• HVAC experience preferred.
• Clear and effective communication with supervisors and crews.
• Strong problem-solving and multitasking abilities.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with customers and create detailed work orders.
• Coordinate scheduling of work with customers, technicians, and projects.
• Provide technicians with hourly/daily updates regarding service type and scope.
• Serve as the primary contact between the customer and Operations, Sales, and Accounting.
• Process service calls, quoted jobs, and warranty work from start to completion.
• Review time and material requests and schedule manpower accordingly.
• Maintain the dispatch board and WIP status for open orders.
• Prepare and provide weekly reports to management.
