Job summary

MSS's Apple Valley Center in Dakota County is seeking a Service Coordinator to support people with disabilities in our programs. The role offers reliable weekday hours from 7:30am to 4:00pm, Monday through Friday, with no evenings or weekends.

You will join a mission-driven team, design and implement meaningful activities, provide direct care when needed, and help clients live with dignity and independence. MSS champions diversity and inclusion and provides a supportive work environment.

Qualifications

• Caring, patient, and encouraging approach to people with diverse needs.
• Understanding Minnesota requirements for Designated Coordinators under 245D.
• Reliable, safe, licensed driver with clean record; able to obtain DOT Medical card.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement fun, meaningful programs for people served.
• Provide direct care activities as needed (e.g., meals, medicine, daily living).
