Service Coordinator
Position Summary
The service coordinator is responsible for the insurance of the appropriate resources, people, parts, tools and materials allocated to commissioning projects. In addition, is also part of the work to help with develop and implement a training and development program to new employees.
Core Duties and Responsibilities
- Ensure that appropriate resources, people, parts, tools and materials are allocated within a timely manner to commissioning projects.
- Drive a culture of safety within team’s and role model safe work habits at all times; ensure training of team members relating to all relevant safety protocol and support adherence to all customer site safety rules.
- Assist in the recruiting process of new commissioning specialists and leads.
- Help to develop and implement a training and development program to help new employees as they onboard and also cross train the existing commissioning team on a broad set of products (ELX, Stationary, H2 Infrastructure, and Fuel Cells).
- Act as a subject matter expert supporting the commissioning team and helping to perform commissioning and maintenance activities on H2 Systems while enhancing the procedures and documentation supporting new H2 Systems being implemented in the field (ELX, Stationary, H2 Infrastructure, etc).
- Assist in adapting best practices for System Services to various geographic regions, including regulatory and code requirements, and local practices in diverse EU countries as necessary.
- Help to drive business KPI’s related to all aspects of System Commissioning Services execution including establishing and maintaining HSE requirements and delivering on reliability goals for our customers.
- Provide guidance and support for the activities of the local Service Specialists and Field Service Technicians in the EU region; focus upon establishing a culture of technical excellence and outstanding customer service skills within the team.
QHSE
Tasks & responsibilities regarding Quality, Health, Safety and Environment (QHSE)
- Taking training courses.
- Using appropriate personal HSE measures (e.g. Personal Protective Equipment’s).
- Cooperating on quality, health, safety, environment and security improvements.
- Reporting incidents potential danger, accidents, near misses, damage, fire, spills.
- Act according the Company Policy and Code of Conduct.
- Follow Project and Company Q and HSE procedures/work instructions and Policies.
- Reporting and preventing deviations, Non-Conformance and complaints.
Authorities with regards to HSE
- In case of an acute safety threat, you are required to cease the work activities, notify your manager directly and follow up all necessary actions.
Level of education / experience
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering and Technology, or relevant work experience.
Other requirements
- VCA/ VOL certificate or willing to get the VCA/ VOL certificate.
- Speak English at a professional level.
- Excellent communication and social skills.
