Job summary

MyPath in Wausau, WI is seeking an Employee Support Specialist to drive onboarding and ongoing staff support, including ISP development and coordination duties. You will serve as a key point of contact for guardians and clients, with travel to multiple work sites as needed.

The role emphasizes training, policy communication, and ongoing staff engagement, in a union-friendly, employee-owned environment dedicated to dignified care and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Wisconsin driver’s license for 3 years with an acceptable driving record.
• Maintain insurance on personal vehicle.
• 5 years caregiving experience, 1-2 years of supervisory experience preferred.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to lead employee orientation and training sessions.
• Ability teach required skills and knowledge to direct care staff.
• Must be able to travel to different work locations, training sessions, and meetings.

• Generates reports recapping program visits and employee performance.
• Develop and manage individual service plans (ISP) for assigned clients.
• Ensure delivery of services outlined in ISP for client population across multiple programs.
• Must be open to responding to program emergencies including those outside normal business hours.

Overview

HIL is looking for an Employee Support Specialist (ESS) to join our team in Wausau. The ESS supports and engages direct care employees through two core functions: Employee Onboarding and continued Employee Support and training.

This role will also have Coordinator duties, to develop and manage ISP plus be a POC for guardians and clients.

This role is based in the Wausau office, with time visiting clients or guardians as needed.
