Maxim is seeking a Parts and Service Associate to thoroughly document all work performed on company owned equipment and vehicles, and to support the service manager in scheduling, ordering, and record-keeping.

You will manage parts orders, maintain work-orders and purchase-orders in CMMS and OnBase systems, assist with inventory counts, and help keep the warehouse organized and compliant with safety standards.

Formación

• 1+ years' experience in parts and service in a similar industry (equipment rental, auto parts, etc.).
• 1+ years' experience using a CMMS system.
• Strong organizational and communication skills; attention to detail.

Responsabilidades

• Orders, tracks, and receives parts for crane repairs and maintenance.
• Labels and stages parts and materials for repairs and maintenance.
• Orders shop supplies and PPE for mechanics and technicians.
• Communicates with vendors regarding shipments and orders.
• Opens and maintains work-orders and purchase-orders in RentalMan and OnBase.
• Assists with service department tasks, including scheduling and paperwork accuracy.
• Performs weekly inventory cycle counts and assists with annual warehouse audit.
• Maintains warehouse order and cleanliness.
• Collects timesheets and billing tickets and forwards to payroll/billing.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Purpose

Assists the Service Manager thoroughly document all aspects of work performed on company owned and operated equipment and vehicles.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Orders, tracks, and receives parts for crane repairs and maintenance.
• Labels and stages parts and materials for repairs and maintenance once received at the branch.
• Orders shop supplies and PPE for mechanics and technicians.
• Communicates with vendors via phone and email regarding shipments and orders.
• Opens and maintains work-orders and purchase-orders in RentalMan and OnBase systems.
• Assists the Service Manager with all aspects of service department - including communicating schedules with mechanics and technicians, ensuring paperwork is complete and accurate for work orders and machine documentation, and maintaining vendor and crane files.
• Completes weekly inventory cycle counts and assists with an annual audit in warehouse to maintain accuracy in ordering, receiving, usage and adjustments to inventory.
• Helps maintain warehouse order and cleanliness.
• Collects timesheets and billing tickets from mechanics and technicians and check for accuracy before submitting to payroll and billing departments.
• Performs other duties as assigned or required.

Requirements

Education:

• High School Diploma or GED

Experience:

• 1+ years' experience in parts and service in a similar industry such as equipment rental, auto parts service, etc.
• 1+ years' experience using a CMMS system

• Advanced organizational, time management, and communication skills
• Moderate computer skills and knowledge of CMMS systems
