Job summary

Goodwill Industries of South Florida seeks a Service Contracts Manager in Miami to ensure contracts are executed per the Scope of Work and meet customer expectations. You will collaborate with the Division Operations Manager, the Quality Control/Training Manager, and the Training Supervisor to ensure training is delivered safely and effectively.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with the Division Operations Manager, the Quality Control/Training Manager, and the Training Supervisor to ensure employees receive training in safe and effective procedures.
• Oversees budgets, P&L statements, quality control, staffing, training, and timecards.
• Conducts regular on-site quality control inspections with Site Supervisor and/or customer.
• Determines staffing levels to meet the Scope of Work while staying within budget.
• Maintains working knowledge of building maintenance areas including sanitation, cleaning, carpet/hard floor care, equipment operation, chemical handling, MSDS, and safety protocols.
• May attend scheduled training sessions by Division Operations Manager and/or Quality Control/Training Manager.
• Certification in BSCAI, CMI, ISSA, or IEHAI may be required for continued employment.
• Fills out clear reports, quality control inspections, Purchase Order requests, employee evaluations, inventory reports, and other forms as needed.
• Communicates complex tasks clearly to line workers and supervisors.
• Reads, understands, and implements the Scope of Work for contracts and relays this to Site Supervisors and workers.
• May substitute for an absent Site Supervisor on short notice.
• Other duties as directed.

Summary

The Service Contract Manager position is a highly responsible role, ensuring that all contracts are performed at the level described in the Scope of Work and meet the customer’s expectations.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• The Service Contracts Manager collaborates with the Division Operations Manager, the Quality Control/Training Manager, and the Training Supervisor to ensure that employees receive adequate training in the safest and most effective job procedures.
• Responsible for budgets, P&L statements, quality control, staffing, training, and work assignments, as well as timecards.
• Quality control requires regular written on-site inspections conducted with the Site Supervisor and/or customer.
• Responsible for determining the necessary staffing levels to meet the Scope of Work while staying within budget.
• Requires a satisfactory working knowledge in all major areas of building maintenance, including restroom sanitation, office cleaning, carpet care, hard floor care, equipment operation and maintenance, chemical handling, Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS), and safety protocols.
• May be required to attend scheduled training sessions conducted by the Division Operations Manager and/or the Quality Control/Training Manager.
• Certification and participation in BSCAI, CMI, ISSA, or IEHAI may be required for continued employment.
• Ability to fill out clear, legible written reports, quality control inspections, Purchase Order requests, employee evaluations, inventory reports, and other forms as needed.
• Expertise in communicating complex tasks in a clear and concise format to line workers and supervisors.
• Ability to read, comprehend, and implement the Scope of Work for a contract and communicate that knowledge to the Site Supervisor and workers.
• Capacity to substitute for an absent Site Supervisor on short notice.
• Other duties as directed.
