JM Lexus is seeking a Service Consultant to join our Service Drive on a full-time basis in New York. You will greet guests, write service orders, and drive an exceptional service experience while coordinating with technicians and managers.

The role requires strong communication, collaboration, and multitasking abilities, plus proficiency with MS Office. A high school diploma and dealership experience are required.

Competenze

• High school diploma required.
• Minimum of three years’ experience as a Service Writer in a dealership setting preferred.
• Must have strong verbal and written communication skills.

Our goal is to serve our guests efficiently and delight them in their Service needs.Responsibilities:Accountable for greeting customers, writing service orders, and delighting our guests in their Service experiencePreparing repair orders (RO) by describing symptoms, problems, and causes discovered, as well as prescribing repairs and services required and obtaining approval signaturesMaintaining dealership-prescribed standards for Hours per Customer Repair Order written and Customer Service IndexFollowing up on the progress of each repair order during the dayContacting our customers via the preferred method regarding any changes in the estimated time or approximate estimated costPresenting and recommending additional services to our customersAdministering warranty policies and properly initiating warranty claimsProviding management with daily work productivityResponsible for driving our JM Family Core Values (Consideration, Cooperation, Communication, Innovation, and Accountability)Qualifications:High school diploma requiredMinimum of three years’ experience as a Service Writer in a dealership setting, requiredHi-Line experience preferredMust have good communication skills (verbal and written)A natural Collaborator with a willingness to serve our guests and provide the best Lexus experienceAbility to show Innovation via observation and creation/suggestions for process improvementsTakes personal Accountability for personal and team goals and objectivesPossess user proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite of products including MS Word and ExcelMust embody strong social skills and be able to work in a team environmentAbility to multitask and delegate work production in a fast-paced environmentMust be organized!Ability to maintain a professional appearanceAbility to work a flexible schedule to include nights and some weekendsAt JM Lexus, we prioritize your well-being as much as your comfort and security.
