Job description

JM Lexus is looking for a Automotive Service Technician who thrives on diving into the nuts and bolts of vehicle diagnostics and repairs, and who takes pride in their specialization while also being versatile across all repair areas. You'll be the go-to person for ensuring vehicles not only run like a dream but are also up to the highest safety standards, as you road-test your work and stay informed on the latest technical updates and compliance regulations. Responsibilities

• Working in a fast‑paced environment and handling different tasks and duties.
• Functioning as a skilled‑level technician who is able to perform diagnosis and repairs in all areas, in addition to being specialized in particular areas of repair.
• Examining the vehicles to determine if additional safety or service work is necessary.
• Road‑testing vehicles to check work performed.
• Keeping abreast of factory technical bulletins.
• Understanding and keeping abreast with federal, state, and local regulations that affect body shop operations, such as hazardous waste disposal, OSHA Right‑to‑Know, etc.
• Complying with manufacturer and dealer safety and environmental programs and practices.
• Maintaining tools and equipment in a proper state of repair.
• Developing your training and skillset through our PAID Lexus training certification program.

Qualifications

• Certified Toyota or Lexus technician preferred.
• Multiple ASE Certifications preferred.
• Physical requirements include the ability to stand/walk the majority of the day and perform a significant amount of bending, stooping, reaching, lifting, twisting, climbing into vehicles, pushing, pulling, grasping and ability to lift 50‑75 lbs. Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
