Job summary

KODIAK Construction Recruiting & Staffing seeks an Assistant Project Manager – Service to support commercial plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and specialty service projects. This developmental role collaborates with Project Managers, Operations Managers, field teams, and vendors to ensure projects stay on schedule and within budget.

The role emphasizes hands-on exposure to all project phases, from procurement through closeout, with a focus on safety, quality, and effective communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in construction-related field.
• Experience coordinating multi-discipline field teams on construction projects.
• Knowledge of scheduling, procurement, and document control processes.
• Strong communication and client-facing skills.

Responsibilities

• Support Project Managers with planning and execution of commercial service projects.
• Coordinate communication among field teams, customers, vendors, and subcontractors.
• Assist with developing and maintaining project schedules and milestones.
• Prepare and track RFIs, submittals, and change orders.
• Review submittals and drawings for alignment with project requirements.
• Assist with project closeout, warranties, and turnover documentation.
