KODIAK Construction Recruiting & Staffing is seeking a Senior Project Manager for mechanical construction (HVAC & plumbing) in the DFW area. Lead complex projects from initiation to closeout, guiding PMs and field teams, ensuring safety, quality, schedule adherence, and budget control.

Ideal candidates bring 6+ years in mechanical PM, strong HVAC/plumbing knowledge, design-build experience, and proficiency with Timberline/Sage, MS Office, and CAD/BIM.

Qualifications

• 6 years of mechanical construction PM experience
• Experience leading PM & Project Engineers
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and mechanical systems
• Design-build/design-assist experience
• Financial acumen and cash-flow management skills
• Proficiency with construction software (Timberline/Sage, MS Office, CAD/BIM)

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple full-scope mechanical construction projects
• Lead Project Engineers and Superintendents
• Oversee contracts, schedules of values, budgets, and cost codes
• Coordinate with field leadership to plan and execute work
• Manage material, equipment, and subcontract procurement
• Review and submit billings, pay applications, and change orders
• Partner with design teams on design-build projects
• Ensure safety compliance across all assigned projects
• Drive project closeout and retainage recovery
