Quipt Home Medical in Salina, KS is seeking a Service Center Supervisor to coordinate branch operations and lead a team delivering patient care and service.

The role requires hiring, training, workflow management, liaison with patients and referral sources, and adherence to organizational policies. Prior leadership experience and Medicare knowledge are valued as part of a fast-paced medical equipment service environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3+ years related experience in an office environment.
• 1+ year related customer service experience.
• 1+ year related experience with warehouse management.
• Medicare and third-party reimbursement experience preferred.
• Prior Leadership experience with a proven track record.

Responsibilities

• Interviews, hires, and trains new team members.
• Oversees the daily workflow of the department/branch.
• Liaises with patients, referral sources, and other team members to coordinate patient care.
• Maintains knowledge of insurance criteria and products/services offered by the organization.
• Attends in-services and meetings; assists with meeting management.

Service Center Supervisor Duties:

A Service Center Supervisor assists with coordination branch/department operations, performs the day-to-day functions of their team members, and may participate in their team members’ employment cycle

Service Center Supervisor Duties include but are not limited to:

• Interviews, hires, and trains new team members
• Oversees the daily workflow of the department/branch
• Liaises with patients, referral sources, and other team members to coordinate patient care
• Maintains strong working knowledge of, and aids team members in a variety of areas including, insurance coverage criteria and products and services offered by the organization
• Attends in-services and meetings; assists with meeting management
• Resolves customer complaints, reports necessary complaints to leadership
• Enforces team adherence to company policies and procedures. Ensures team members are familiar with infection control, environment safety, emergency protocols, etc.
• Communicates regularly and effectively with team members
• Motivates team members to achieve individual and group goals
• Participates in team member evaluations, career pathing and development, disciplinary actions, performance improvement plans, and terminations
• Provides feedback to leaders to help improve business practices; assists in creating ways to deliver excellent customer service or create a better patient care environment
• Interviews, hires, and onboards new team members. Oversees new and existing team member training.
• Performs and oversees referral and customer service operations such as order intake, customer service, insurance verification, documentation verification, prior d. Works with leadership, Sales team, and Procurement to monitor trends and ensure equipment availability
• Oversees equipment service in compliance with manufacturer suggested guidelines
• Ensures inventory traceability and equipment manual availability (physical or electronic)
• Maintains warehouse logs and files
• Develops and ensures compliance with safety, cleanliness, and maintenance schedules of the facility
• Monitors the appropriate disposal or equipment and supplies

• Prior Leadership experience with a proven track record

Qualifications Physical:

• Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
• Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard, mouse, and to handle other computer components
• Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds at times
• Must be clean and neat in personal appearance
