Job summary

Computacenter (UK) Ltd. seeks a Service Center Lead to oversee inventory control and service center operations across multiple locations, ensuring accuracy and compliance. You will manage day-to-day activities, placements of putaway locations, and real-time inventory tracking to support project scopes.

You will lead a small team, drive process improvements, and coordinate with logistics and production to meet tight deadlines while upholding safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required; associate degree preferred.
• 2+ years in inventory control or logistics operations.
• Experience in inventory control, service center leadership.
• Proficient with WMS; knowledge of HCAP is a plus.
• Legally eligible to work in the United States.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Lead inventory control operations across receiving, putaway, picking, and shipping.
• Oversee service center functions to meet customer requirements and project scope.
• Assign putaway locations and maintain real-time inventory tracking.
• Manage a small team, provide hands-on leadership, and mentor for performance.
• Communicate process improvements and collaborate on layout optimization.
• Oversee shipping, picking, documentation, and compliance with quality standards.
• Maintain audit trails in the system and generate inventory and project reports.
