Job summary

Clean Earth is seeking a Service Center Manager to lead a small center, coaching supervisors and staff to meet safety, regulatory, and customer KPI goals. You will manage routes, coordinate with fleet and maintenance, and ensure compliance with DOT standards while driving continuous improvement across operations.

The role requires 3+ years in transportation leadership, knowledge of hazardous waste regulations, and experience with TMS systems. Travel up to 10% and on-site work are expected.

Qualifications

• Education: BA/BS degree or related; high school diploma with related experience acceptable.
• 3 years of leadership experience in transportation field; 3 years in transportation planning and DOT regulation familiarity.
• Experience with transportation management software and knowledge of vehicular maintenance and repair.
• Hazardous waste industry knowledge and RCRA/DOT exposure preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead service center teams, coaching supervisors and employees toward company goals and regulatory compliance.
• Oversee route management, ensuring adherence to safety and efficiency targets, including LTL, Bulk/FTL, pre/post-service.
• Manage service center operations, facilities, assets, and HR-related onboarding and development.
• Maintain safety culture, conduct safety meetings, and ensure PPE and training compliance.
• Support sales onboarding and maintain customer relationships; meet SLAs and KPIs.
• Monitor and improve productivity and cost controls while aligning with P&L expectations.
