Job summary

Sapp Bros., Inc. is seeking an experienced Service Advisor to join our fast-paced diesel maintenance shop.

You will greet customers, write service tickets, and oversee the service process from start to finish, delivering courteous, reliable service and building lasting relationships. Ideal candidates have at least 1 year in a service advisor role, strong typing and computer skills, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent (preferred).
• At least 1 year of previous experience in a service advisor or service writer role (preferred).
• Strong typing skills and the ability to work with computer applications.
• A valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
• Ability to perform basic math and use an adding machine.

What You’ll Do:

As a Service Advisor, you'll build strong customer relationships and ensure customers receive prompt, courteous, and effective service. You'll oversee the service process from start to finish, ensuring customer expectations are met and exceeded.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide excellent customer service, building lasting relationships.
• Manage the service process, from initial contact to completion.
• Ensure vehicles undergo lock-out/tag-out procedures for safety.
• Assign work orders to skilled technicians and monitor job completion.
• Handle incoming calls professionally and efficiently.
• Complete work orders and assist with inventory management.
• Support over-the-counter sales and assist with fleet accounts.
• Perform daily cleaning duties and maintain a safe, organized work environment.
• Follow all safety procedures, including lock-out/tag compliance.
