Job summary

Nissan of Boerne is seeking a Service Cashier in Texas. The role focuses on accurate money handling, processing repair orders, and maintaining daily transaction records for customers and the service department.

The successful candidate will print invoices, balance drawers, process credit card and Telecheck payments, prepare deposits, and support F&I activities while assisting the service staff and attending department meetings.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• 1–3 months related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Prints repair orders, parts invoices, bills, itemized lists, and tickets showing amount due.
• Records amounts received and prepares cash reports of transactions.
• Balances cash drawer at the beginning and end of each shift.
• Processes repair orders and operates credit card and Telecheck machines.
• Maintains records of daily transaction documentation.
• Calculates discounts, coupons and charges and applies to proper accounts on repair orders.
• Prepares daily bank deposits.
• Processes and receives Finance and Insurance (F&I) and necessary sales monies.
• Processes extended warranty payments for repair orders.
• Assists in scheduling courtesy transportation and receptionist with phone calls.
• Attends department meetings.
