Job summary

Fiesta Chevrolet in Texas is seeking a Cashier to accurately process payments for service and parts, greet customers, and maintain a friendly professional demeanor.

You will handle daily cash reconciliation, enter transactions in the DMS, and assist with phone and in-person inquiries while supporting the service department. A High School Diploma is required, prior cash register experience is preferred, and you must be able to stand and lift up to 20 pounds.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information.
• One year of experience operating a cash register preferred.
• Will be trained on dealership computer systems, cash register and other office machines.
• Professional personal appearance.
• Ability to work well with customers.

Responsibilities

• Process customer payments for service and parts transactions using established processes utilizing pay methods approved.
• Responsible for processing payments and entering DMS correctly.
• Reconcile cash box and deposits daily with exact accuracy as per request of the accounting department.
• Submit timely and accurate cashier reports according to the established process.
• Maintain manufacturer certification.
• Review extended service contracts and submit for payment with service contract agencies as necessary
• Answer Service calls and assist with customer needs as instructed by management.
• Provide appointment scheduling for customers both at cashiering and on the phone using the xtime system.
• Maintain loaner vehicle fleet by utilizing available systems and following applicable process.
• Create loaner contracts and maintain documentation as required.
• Make outbound calls to follow up with customers, schedule appointments, and generate additional service business as requested.
• Review emails from BDC support and assist with customer needs.
• Advise service manager of any customer concerns or needs that require management’s attention.
• Maintain work area tidy and organized.
• Ensure documents are filed appropriately and secure.
• Provide a positive customer experience.
• Assist the service manager in any other duties as directed.
• Other duties as assigned
