Job summary

Bert Ogden Auto Group in Pharr, TX is seeking a reliable Cashier to handle customer payments for service and parts and to maintain accurate records in the dealership's systems.

You will greet customers, process payments, manage cash drawers, and support the service department with calls and scheduling while upholding a professional appearance and high service standards. Training on dealership software will be provided.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• One year of cashier experience preferred.
• Willing to be trained on dealership software and office machines.
• Professional appearance and ability to work with customers.

Responsibilities

• Process customer payments for service and parts transactions using established processes utilizing pay methods approved.
• Responsible for processing payments and entering DMS correctly.
• Reconcile cash box and deposits daily with exact accuracy as per request of the accounting department.
• Submit timely and accurate cashier reports according to the established process.
• Maintain manufacturer certification.
• Review extended service contracts and submit for payment with service contract agencies as necessary
• Answer Service calls and assist with customer needs as instructed by management.
• Provide appointment scheduling for customers both at cashiering and on the phone using the xtime system.
