Price Simms Family Dealerships in the San Rafael area is seeking a friendly Service Cashier to handle customer payments, issue receipts, and maintain accurate records on the repair orders and counter tickets.

The role requires a high school diploma, 2+ years of customer service, and basic computer skills. You’ll join a team across multiple Bay Area locations and uphold our commitment to integrity and outstanding service.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years of customer service experience preferred.
• Basic skills with computer and other office machines.
• Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational ability.

Responsibilities

• Calculate the customer’s bill using the dealership’s computer system.
• Receive cash, checks and credit card payments and record amounts.
• Issue receipts and obtain customer signatures at payment time.
• Verify totals against cash, checks and cards at end of shift.
• Refer questions about repair orders to service staff as needed.
• Handle complaints with integrity and poise and refer when necessary.
• Give cash refunds for approved returns and maintain files.
• Perform receptionist duties as needed and other duties as assigned.
