Job summary

Upchurch, a rapidly growing building engineering company, is seeking a Service Billing Specialist to support billing and accounts receivable functions. You will prepare invoices, maintain billing records, and assist with customer inquiries across accounting, project management, and operations.

The role involves reviewing bills, applying agreed pricing, posting payments, and generating AR reports to keep month-end close on track.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of billing, accounts receivable, or related administrative experience.
• Experience in service, construction, facilities, or similar industry preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to review large amounts of information and identify discrepancies.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills; manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Prepare invoices and maintain billing records.
• Register and maintain company information in customer portals to obtain PO access and submit invoices.
• Generate monthly AR reports and submit supporting invoices to AP.
• Review billing for accuracy and apply pricing/rates; submit invoices for payment.
• Post customer payments and handle accounting adjustments as needed.
• Collaborate with Account Managers, Accounting, and Operations to resolve billing issues.
