Job summary

Warren CAT is seeking a Service Attendant to promote a safe, efficient workplace by removing hazards and waste on job sites. You will support Supervisors and Service Technicians with daily tasks that boost safety, production, and contamination control.

Responsibilities include maintenance, safety issue reporting, waste removal, and equipment preparation. The role involves service bay cleaning, procedural compliance, and occasional project involvement at our facilities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Excellent communication skills for written and verbal exchange.
• Aptitude for using or learning computer skills related to software.
• Excellent attention to detail for inventory and instructions.
• Successfully complete Work Steps assessment.

• Perform and document daily/weekly maintenance activities.
• Identify safety issues and report/resolve them in real time.
• Identify and remove waste from yard and work areas.
• Clean worktables, bins and equipment between jobs for project readiness.
• Clean service bays during and between service jobs.
• Assist the Service Department in Caterpillar contamination control procedures.
• Assist Technicians under Supervisors direction.
• Provide oversight when large equipment is moved, signaling to prevent damage and unsafe acts.
• Prepare reports as requested.
• Participate in special projects as operations demand.

What You'll Do

• Perform and document daily/weekly maintenance activities.
• Identify Safety Issues, reporting and resolving them in real time.
• Identify and remove waste from yard and work areas.
• Clean worktables, bins and equipment between jobs to ensure the are ready for projects as required.
• Clean Service bays during and between Service jobs.
• Assist the Service Department in complying with all Caterpillar Contamination Control Procedures.
• Assist Technicians with Supervisors direction.
• Provide oversight when large equipment is being moved at our facilities, signaling to operators to prevent property damage and unsafe acts.
• Prepares reports as requested.
• Participate in special projects as operations demand.

What You'll Need

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and/or one (1) month related experience and/or training.
• Excellent communication skills to exchange information with customers and other employees in written and verbal form.
• Aptitude for using or learning computer skills related to specialized and common software.
• Excellent attention to detail to ensure proper recording and tracking of inventory and execution of other instructions or assignments.
• Successfully complete Work Steps assessment.
