Job summary

Ford's Garage in Florida is seeking a Line Cook (Heart of House Hero) to join our energetic team. You will prep ingredients, assemble dishes to our recipes, and help maintain high standards of quality and speed in a high-volume kitchen.

You should be able to stand for long shifts, read and follow recipes, and communicate clearly with the team. We offer unique benefits, daily pay, and opportunities to grow within our growing brand.

• Kitchen experience in a high-volume environment.
• Valid food/alcohol certification as required by state law.
• Stand for 10 hours and lift at least 50 pounds.

• Ensure guests have an unbeatable experience with high-quality prep and presentation.
• Prepare guest orders accurately and promptly.
• Support Heart of House through proper food preparation and stock levels.
• Maintain highest cleanliness standards in all prep areas.

Minimum Qualifications (with or without accommodation)

• Kitchen experience required, preferably in a high-volume atmosphere
• Must possess or be able to obtain a valid food/alcohol certification, as required by state law
• Able to stand for 10 hours and lift at least 50 pounds
• Good hearing for safety and accurate communication
• Must be able to read, write and speak in English
• Must have reliable transportation

Our Line Cooks are Responsible for:

• Ensuring our guests have an unbeatable experience with the highest quality preparation and presentation of our food products with the utmost recipe adherence
• Preparing guest orders accurately in a timely manner
• Supporting the success of the Heart of house through proper food preparation and stock levels
• Maintaining highest standards of cleanliness throughout all food preparation areas
• Being aware of and abiding by all food safety practices.
