Imperial Conveying Solutions in Canton, OH is seeking a Service/Assembly Associate to join our Service Department. This hands-on role supports field and in-house assembly, with a team-focused, family-oriented environment.

Ideal candidates are mechanically inclined, eager to learn, and capable of reading drawings, using hand and power tools, and maintaining safety.

The successful candidate will travel for service work as needed, support shipments, and contribute to a clean, organized shop.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Basic math and measuring skills essential.
• Ability to read tape measures and blueprints.
• Mechanical aptitude and familiarity with hand tools.
• Commitment to safe, accurate, and clean work environment.
• Valid driver’s license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate a forklift or learn.
• Welding with stick when needed; training may be provided.
• Travel to jobsites in the United States as part of the Service Team.
• Local pickups and deliveries, occasional trailer towing.
• Support during shutdowns; weekends/holidays may be paid overtime.
• Perform assembly tasks with drawings and tools.
• Load/unload materials.
• Maintain inventory of components.
• Prepare materials for shipment.
• Read blueprints and drawings; prior experience preferred.

Service/Assembly Associate

Canton, OH

Imperial Conveying Solutions LLC is currently searching for a full-time Service/Assembly Associate to support our Service Department and contribute to a collaborative, family-oriented team environment.

This role is a great fit for a mechanically inclined candidate who is eager to learn and enjoys hands-on work in a fast-paced setting. The successful candidate will bring a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to assist others while receiving feedback and direction professionally.

Responsibilities:

• Use stick welding skills when needed; experience is preferred, but training may be provided.
• Travel to jobsites throughout the United States as part of the Service Team when needed.
• Make local pickups and deliveries, including occasional trailer towing.
• Support work during company shutdowns when needed, including weekends and holidays. Sunday and holiday work is currently paid at double-time rates.
• Perform assembly tasks, including preparing materials, reviewing drawings, and using hand and power tools.
• Work overtime during busy periods when required.
• Load and unload materials from trucks safely and efficiently.
• Maintain inventory of nuts, bolts, idlers, and other key components.
• Prepare materials and components for shipment.
• Lift, push, and pull up to 100 lbs. as required for the position.
• Read blueprints and drawings; prior experience is preferred.
• Work with accuracy, precision, and strong attention to detail.
• Use basic computer skills to support job-related tasks.
• Assist with arranging freight shipments as needed.
• Receive materials and verify accurate counts.
