Job summary

The City of Cincinnati is seeking a Community Center Director to oversee multiple recreation facilities and service areas, supervise staff, and drive community programs. You will coordinate with partners, manage budgets, and implement strategic plans to meet community needs.

Required are substantial leadership in recreation, budgeting and program development, plus willingness to work flexible hours and travel to sites as needed.

Qualifications

• Five years of experience as a Community Center Director with City of Cincinnati or equivalent.
• Two years as a Director or Coordinator with a Bachelor's degree.
• One year as a Director/Coordinator with a Master’s degree in Recreation Admin or related field.

Responsibilities

• Develops and implements long-range strategic plans for service areas.
• Manage facilities and supervise staff; oversee budgets and grants.
• Coordinate programs with schools, parks, churches and community partners.
• Ensure compliance with safety and department policies.
