Job summary

Arbon Equipment, a Rite-Hite Company, seeks a Service Technician to install, maintain and repair loading dock equipment and doors at customer sites. You’ll work closely with a senior technician as you learn products and customer needs, with opportunities to advance to independent work.

The role is entry-level; prior mechanical or electrical experience helps. You’ll operate in outdoor field conditions, may lift up to 100 lbs, and must pass drug testing with a clean driving record.

Job Description

Rite-Hite Service Technicians install, maintain, and repair loading dock equipment and industrial doors at customer facilities. In addition, Service Technicians act as a technical resource for our customers and our sales force. This position works independently or in small teams in a field service environment, and is a primary customer contact. As an apprentice, you will spend the majority of your time working closely with a senior Technician, learning our products and our customers and developing the skills needed to work on your own.

Required Experience

Rite-Hite sells the best and we hire the best. While this is an entry-level position, some prior mechanical or electrical experience is helpful. Selected candidate must be able to work independently in a field environment. Good customer service skills are required. This position requires the ability to work outdoors, at heights, and lift up to 100 pounds. As this position requires driving a company vehicle, a pre-employment drug test and clean driving record are required, as is a DOT physical.
