Job summary

Arbon Equipment, a Rite-Hite Company, is hiring Service Technicians to install, maintain, and repair loading dock equipment and industrial doors at customer facilities. As an apprentice, you will work closely with a senior Technician, learning our products and customers and developing the skills to work on your own in the field.

This opportunity requires being able to work outdoors, at heights, and lift up to 100 pounds.

Qualifications

• Entry-level position; some prior mechanical or electrical experience is helpful.
• Must be able to work outdoors, at heights, and lift up to 100 pounds.
• Position requires driving a company vehicle, pre-employment drug test and clean driving record, and a DOT physical.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair loading dock equipment and industrial doors at customer facilities.
• Serve as a technical resource for customers and the sales force.
• Apprentice learns from a senior Technician and develops the skills to work independently in the field.

Rite-Hite Service Technicians

install, maintain, and repair loading dock equipment and industrial doors at customer facilities. In addition, Service Technicians act as a technical resource for our customers and our sales force. This position works independently or in small teams in a field service environment, and is a primary customer contact. As an apprentice, you will spend the majority of your time working closely with a senior Technician, learning our products and our customers and developing the skills needed to work on your own.

Required Experience

Rite-Hite sells the best and we hire the best. While this is an entry-level position, some prior mechanical or electrical experience is helpful. Selected candidate must be able to work independently in a field environment. Good customer service skills are required. This position requires the ability to work outdoors, at heights, and lift up to 100 pounds. As this position requires driving a company vehicle, a pre-employment drug test and clean driving record are required, as is a DOT physical.
