Job summary

St. Dominic Villa, an Illuminus Community, in Hazel Green, WI (near Dubuque, IA), is seeking compassionate CNAs for the 2pm–10pm PM shift. We offer part-time or full-time opportunities in a peaceful, resident-centered environment.

Enrollment in a Certified Nursing Aide Program that starts within the month of hire is encouraged; strong communication, confidentiality, and teamwork are essential to support residents and families and to uphold our mission and values.

Qualifications

• Enrollment in Certified Nursing Aide Program that starts within the month of hire date.
• Excellent communications and human relation skills.
• Ability to maintain and protect the confidentiality of information.
• Ability to relate well to the residents/patients/clients, family members / personal representatives.
• Ability to collaborate with all internal and external customers.

Responsibilities

• Maintains and actively promotes effective communication with residents/patients/clients and supervisors.
• Responsible for maintaining a positive image of the entity in the community keeping in alignment with our mission, vision, and values.
• Perform tasks as directed and guided by supervisors
• Only perform tasks in which training has been provided.
• Cooperate with scheduling to accomplish adequate coverage for resident services.
• Pass newspapers, answer call lights, deliver meal trays to residents
