Job Description

Summary

As a Service Advisor, you will be a key member of our service team, responsible for providing outstanding customer service and ensuring smooth operation of the service department. You will act as the liaison between customers and our technicians, ensuring vehicles are diagnosed, serviced, and repaired efficiently.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Greet customers professionally, ensuring a luxury brand experience.
  • Listen to customer concerns and document vehicle issues accurately.
  • Explain recommended services and repairs clearly to promote transparency and trust.
  • Use product knowledge and service history to identify maintenance opportunities that increase revenue and add value for customers.
  • Communicate estimates, obtain approvals, and suggest service packages or upgrades when appropriate.
  • Schedule appointments to optimize shop productivity and technician efficiency.
  • Coordinate with technicians to ensure timely repairs and workload balance.
  • Keep customers informed during the service process with updates and realistic timelines.
  • Maintain detailed service records for warranty claims and future business.
  • Prepare and explain invoices, including service breakdowns and upsells.
  • Contribute to department profitability through sales, RO accuracy, and margin adherence.
  • Follow up post-service to ensure satisfaction and encourage repeat business.
  • Resolve customer issues promptly to protect CSI and retention.
  • Stay updated on OEM technologies, bulletins, and initiatives for value-based recommendations.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience as a Service Advisor with a high-line or luxury automotive brand.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Knowledge of automotive systems and technical understanding.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Familiarity with service department operations.
  • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
  • Must be authorized to work in the USA and pass pre-employment testing (background, MVR, drug test).
