Job summary

Trek Store Albuquerque is seeking a Service Technician/Advisor who will care for bikes so customers love riding them. You’ll troubleshoot repairs, service many kinds of bikes on the spot, and install accessories on new bikes.

You’ll also be first to work with brand new models before they hit the sales floor. We value stellar customer service, hospitality, and strong communication, with leadership and problem-solving skills to keep gear running flawlessly.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service and hospitality skills.
• Strong communication and listening abilities.
• Willingness to learn bike servicing methods and technologies.
• Ability to work well in a team and adapt to a fast-paced shop.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot repairs and service bicycles on the spot.
• Install accessories customers choose on new bikes.
• Be the face of the department when the Service Manager is unavailable.
• Build relationships with customers and evaluate issues to recommend repairs.

Job Description

As a Trek Service Technician/Advisor, no one day is the same as the last. This job is all about caring for bikes so their owners love riding them. You’ll troubleshoot repairs and service all kinds of bikes on the spot and install the awesome accessories customers select for their new bike! You’ll also be the first to have your hands on brand new models before they hit the sales floor. Most importantly, you’ll build relationships with people who trust you to keep their gear running flawlessly. This role closely supports the Service Manager. When the Service Manager is not available, you are the face of the department to customers. We’re looking for a teammate with stellar customer service chops and a willingness to learn. Because you’ll constantly be speaking with customers to evaluate issues and recommend repairs, we value fantastic hospitality skills above prior shop experience. This role requires elevated skills in communication, leadership and problem solving.
