Job summary

Walter's Auto Sales seeks a Service Advisor to own the customer experience in the service lane. You will greet vehicle owners, understand product offerings and inventory needs, and coordinate technician scheduling with a focus on quality service.

Responsibilities include guiding customers through repairs, explaining estimates, and obtaining necessary approvals while maintaining professionalism and clear communication.

Qualifications

• Organized and friendly personality with strong time management skills.
• Excellent communication skills with a professional, well-groomed appearance.
• Valid driver’s license held for at least 2 years with a clean driving record.
• Previous service advisor experience required; CDK experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Drive Lane Flow: Ensure customers receive prompt, courteous, and effective service.
• Advise Customers: Recommend necessary services for routine maintenance and explain work performed, including repair order charges.
• Communication: Check on repair progress throughout the day, contact customers regarding any changes in estimate or time, and obtain proper authorization for additional repairs.
• Customer Ownership: Take ownership of the customer experience, handling additional tasks to leave a positive impression.
• Technician Time Management: Ensure technicians’ time is consistently utilized to serve service customers.
• Work Distribution: Efficiently distribute work among technicians to ensure smooth service operations.
• Professionalism: Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times.
