Job summary

Excel Truck Group in Ashland, VA is seeking a Service Advisor/Service Writer for our brand-new dealership. You will provide administrative support to a high-volume truck service team, communicate with customers, and help coordinate repairs and estimates.

The role offers day shift hours: 9:00am–6:00pm, a competitive salary of $60,000–$70,000 per year with a strong benefits package, and opportunities for advancement within the company.

Qualifications

• Truck or auto service advisor experience preferred or strong administrative skills.
• Basic truck or automotive technical knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative assistance supporting a high-volume Truck Service team.
• Support diagnostic, repair estimate, payment commitment, repair, and communication during the repair process.
• Maintain open communication with technicians, management, and customers about job status changes.
• Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction with the service received.
• Promote teamwork among technicians and support staff; assist other service advisors when needed.
