Job summary

New Country's service department seeks a Service Advisor to drive service sales, protect gross profit, and ensure customer satisfaction. This role acts as the dealership's first-line customer relations and service sales representative.

You will greet customers, schedule appointments, gather vehicle data, explain repair costs, and coordinate repairs with technicians while maintaining a professional appearance.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers in a prompt, courteous manner and acknowledge those waiting.
• Schedule appointments using dealership-approved forms.
• Communicate with service customers to determine the nature of the mechanical problem and listen to their statements.
• Secure agreement from customers before repairs begin and cover cost estimates.
• Obtain customer and vehicle data and secure payment method.
• Test drive the vehicle with the customer if needed to clarify the problem.
• Inspect vehicles for bodywork and inform the customer what is needed.
• Advise customers on car care and manufacturer-recommended maintenance.
• Ensure that all Repair Orders are accurately accounted for.
