Toyota of Wallingford is seeking a Service Advisor to be the main point of contact between customers and our service team. You will communicate maintenance needs, provide estimates, and ensure satisfaction while upselling appropriate services in a fast-paced dealership environment.

This is an hourly, full-time, exempt position with a monthly bonus opportunity based on sales productivity. Ideal candidates are customer-focused, comfortable with a dealership setting, and able to balance accuracy

Formación

• 1+ year of experience in a customer-facing role within an automotive dealership or related service environment
• Proven sales skills with ability to up-sell repair labor and services
• Working knowledge of repair order processing and documentation
• Strong customer service and communication skills to explain technical information
• Ability to build rapport and meet sales/productivity targets
• Proficiency in English, both verbal and written
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced dealership environment with evening/weekend hours

Responsabilidades

• Serve as primary liaison between customers and service department from check-in to vehicle delivery
• Greet customers and document repair/maintenance needs on repair orders
• Prepare, review, and process repair orders with parts and labor details
• Present maintenance and repair recommendations with clear benefits and urgency
• Upsell additional services focusing on safety and manufacturer recommendations
• Provide accurate cost and time estimates and obtain customer approval
• Coordinate with technicians and parts staff for timely work and documentation
• Keep customers informed on status, timing changes, and pricing
• Review completed work at delivery and address concerns
• Assist with warranty and policy claim documentation as needed
• Support department sales goals and service growth
